One of the great things I've discovered about starting a new family is making our own traditions. When I lived with my aunt and uncle I got to share in some of their holiday traditions. Every Halloween, after trick-or-treating, they eat dinner out of a pumpkin. It tastes great and is a lot of fun. I loved this one so much that I wanted to continue it with my family. Usually you scoop yucky pumpkin guts out of the center, not yummy ground beef. Tyson and I took this tradition to Tremonton to share with my family. It was fun to have the kids around and see everyone. Tyson wants to try a different casserole ever year and see what tastes best baked in a pumpkin. Mark this one up as our newest family tradition.
